POCSO Awareness Session for Stakeholders
The Secunderabad Public School conducted a *POCSO Awareness Session* for its drivers and support staff as part of its ongoing commitment to providing a safe, secure, and child-friendly environment.
The session was led by Guardian & Co., Advocates & Solicitors, represented by Mr. K. Vasu Devaraju and Mr. Rama Rao Immaneni. They provided valuable insights into the key provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, highlighting child safety, appropriate professional conduct, legal responsibilities, and the importance of mandatory reporting.
The interactive session reinforced the vital role of every stakeholder in safeguarding children and promoting a culture of vigilance, respect, and accountability.

Substance Abuse Awareness Workshop
On 22 June 2026, The Secunderabad Public School organized Substance Abuse Awareness Workshop in collaboration with the Police Department. The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Inspector Shri N. Venkatesh, who emphasized the importance of making wise life choices and avoiding addictions. A focused session on substance abuse, narcotics, and drugs was conducted with the support of Detective Inspector Shri Srisailam Nair, Sub-Inspector Smt. Sandhya, Mr. Ranjith, and the staff of Marredpally Police Station. Through interactive discussions and real-life examples, students learned about the harmful effects of drugs and the importance of self-discipline, responsibility, and healthy living. The workshop inspired students to become responsible, drug-free citizens.
