RULES & REGULATIONS

Be present. Take time to visit school. Your presence indicates to your child that his/her school is important to you also.
Care, communicate and be connected with their world. Find out what interests them.
Develop punctuality as a habit and share the school’s idea of discipline. We expect respect, regularity and positive attitude.
Evolve and learn with them. They teach you some thing everyday.
Focus on the family-immediate and extended – happy family gives strong roots.
Grand parents play very important role in character building. Give them the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the little ones.
Home is an extension of your school and school is an extension of your home.
Independence and Interdependence encourage them to make little decisions and never hesitate to ask for or offer help.
Join hand with the school to help you and our children to fly high.
Key to successful school year includes goo communication between home and school.
Learning to share-toys, skills and even lunch sometimes to be encouraged.
Merit cards that your child will earn instead of the ranks in class. All children scoring above a certain level become eligible.
Nurture your child’s creativity and interest. They shape their personality.
Outings are great learning experiences. Be sure to incorporate some in your schedule, the school too will organize them.
PTMs are very important both for us and for you. Both parents are expected to come to school at the appointed time. Please take them seriously.
Questions, queries and concerns of the children must be addressed and answered. Make time for them.
Reading habit must be inculcated. We will do our bit. You could now help by reporting what you “read at home” with your children.
Support them and stand by them. They need you. It gives them the strength to make the right choices.
Touch your children and give them hugs. Let them know how much they are loved even on not so good days.
Understand their point of view. It is an investment that pays amazing dividends.
Volunteer to help in any way you can-time, resources, ideas etc, after all our goal is the same.
Warning signals must be heeded. Any loss of appetite, unnecessary weeping or preference for being along needs immediate attention.
please send an eXtra set of clothing for the little ones so that when the need arises we are prepared.
You are your child’s first and most important teacher. No one can influence your child’s life in a way that you can.
Zomm! sit back and watch your child’s development. You will be amazed at the changes in your child this year.
DEAR PARENTS
You are requested to read the contents of this almanac carefully and in the interest of the child, abide by the rules laid down by the school.
All communications should be addressed to the Principal.
Whenever you correspond with the school about your son/daughter, kindly quote his/her full name, class and section.
Parents or guardians who bring the children to the school or get food for them are not allowed to go to the class. The food baskets must be properly labeled and left at the main entrance.
Date of birth once entered, will not be changed under any circumstances.
If your child is suffering from a contagious disease he / she will not be permitted to attend the class. You must produce a Medical Certificate permitting him/her to re-join the class.
Kindly ensure that your child attends the morning assembly without fail. The first bell for assembly shall ring at 8:20 am. Note:- Students must be present in the school before the first bell (i.e. 8:15 am) .

Assembly proceedings start at 8:25 am.
Please ensure that your child comes to school on the reopening day of every term without fail.
Please take care of the personal hygiene of your child.
You are not permitted to meet the students or teachers during the working hours, without the permission of the Principal.
PRINCIPAL
You should contact the Principal regarding any complaint, and not the teachers directly.
If your child is not making the desired progress the Principal should be contacted early in the academic year for seeking out ways for the his / her improvement. (Criticizing any of the teachers or the school in the presence of the child should be avoided as this would discourage the child from learning.
Please do not indulge in any kind of group meetings and create nuisance of any kind in and around the school premises.
Non-observance of the above rules will be regarded as a serious breach of discipline and your child’s name will be removed from the rolls.
Though every care is taken to ensure the safety and welfare of the students, if any accidents occur, school is not responsible for the consequence.
You are requested to inform the Administrative Office of any change of address or phone numbers.
Please ensure that you create the time and environment at home to review and practise what the child has learnt in the school. If you give importance to your child’s work, his / her confidence will be boosted.
Please ensure that your child:
wears the right uniform badge (if any) and see that it is clean and ironed.
wears the student ID card every day.
takes pride in his / her appearance:
– nails are cut short
– hair is cut and combed properly
– shoes are always polished
– socks are pulled up and are clean
– does not wear expensive or fancy ornaments to school,
Maintain discipline at all times and behaves well.
Submit all assignments on time. Home work helps you to revise, revisit and remember what is done in class.
Bring the right note books to school, do not carry unnecessary books.
Pay full attention in the class.
take pride in maintaining the school property. Any damage is liable to be penalised. Respect every one.
Speaks softly and kindly to all is kind and helpful to all.
Takes part in all school activities.
Does his / her best in everything he / she undertakes to do.
Keeps the class rooms and surroundings clean at all times. Uses the dustbins.
Use the student diary properly by noting down home work and class work, timetables, all instructions given by the Teachers, neatly and legibly. Shows the diary to you and gets all remarks signed.
All students are required to speak only in English within the school premises. Students found not abiding by this rule will be fined.
Your ward is responsible for the safe custody of his / her belongings. However in-case of any loss enquiries can be made at the lost and found counter. Kindly Avoid taking your child when the school is in session. However, in case of an emergency you must seek prior permission of the Principal.
Students are not allowed to receive visitors or phone calls during the class hours.
Encourage your child to develop the reading habit. A page is provided in the diary to make a note of the books read by the student and record his/her impressions.
DIARY
Encourage your child to maintain the diary neatly. Check your child’s diary regularly for important messages, circulars or any other information and sign in the assigned page : Use only Blue or Black ball pen.
ATTENDANCE
Regular and punctual attendance is an important factor for your child’s overall success, since the class room teaching is done along with practical and groups orientation it involves explicit instruction which is not possible to make up at home. Attendance of less than 90% will be treated with detention.
ABSENCE FROM SCHOOL
1. Granting of leave is only with prior written application from the parents or guardian. Failure to comply with this requirement will be condoned only in the case of an emergency.
2. After leave when the student returns to the school, the page “leave record” in the diary must be filled in.
3. A student whose unauthorized absence is more than 10% of the school working days may not be allowed to take examination.
4. A student who is absent for a month without prior permission from the principal will have his/her name struck off the rolls. He / She may be readmitted on payment of . 1000/-, which may be granted only at the discretion of the Principal.
5. A proper leave application supported by a medical certificate in case of sick leave of more than two days must be submitted in written form by the parent to the principal
6. Student who requires medical attention during school hours may be intimated by the parents, with a slip/note in the diary.
